Who To Follow On Twitter

Many small business owners looking to increase their leads with social media have taken the plunge and joined twitter. But after you get set up and you’ve found a few people to have a conversation with, where do you go from there?

Google has rolled out a fantastic new tool called “Follow Finder” that makes it a snap to expand your online conversation.

By entering your twitter username or someone else’s, the Follow Finder tool will analyze your network and show you other tweeps (twitter peeps, aka other twitter users) who have similar connections.

Google Follow Finder - @followredclay

For example, by entering the Red Clay username, followredclay, we can see that people who follow the same users we do also follow Ad Age, Jeremiah Owyang, Matt Cutts, etc. Since people with your same interests are following these users they may be interesting to you as well. In the right column we can see users who have similar followers as us. If our followers also find these users interesting they are also worth checking out.

To check out Follow Finder, go to followfinder.googlelabs.com.

About Red Clay

Red Clay isn't a traditional agency. Our folks don't fit that mold, and we aren't big on conforming. We're thinkers. We like getting outside the box to get results, but never just to be cool. We care too much about conversions to worry about being cool. We're outside the big city and provide our clients with good old fashioned service. Our business is built on conversions, communication, sales … you know, results.
