You may find that we often drill the concept of valuable content into your marketing strategy. It is because great content is so important, and sometimes appears to be a bigger challenge. A recent study has shown that US B2B marketers have used content marketing this year making this the most popular tactic of the businesses surveyed.

B2B Procurers Demand an E-Commerce Experience

New study by Hybris has found that 8 in 10 B2B procurers would opt for a supplier that offers online ordering over an equal supplier that only offers print catalog ordering. The top advantages for the option of e-commerce from a supplier is that it allows them to do business with suppliers at their own convenience (89.4%), saves them time (84.6%), and enables them to be better informed about the state of their order (80.7%).

Top Tech Tools Used by Marketers

MarketingSherpa’s Lead Generation Benchmark survey shows a number of marketing technologies organizations are currently using. The top technology was web analytics at 76%. Email marketing platforms came in second at 64% and website content management systems a close third at 61%. Marketing automation was last at only 19%.

What is success and how do I find it

My alma mater recently honored me for being what they consider “successful” in the business, community, or educational worlds. And as a result, I was asked to define success and give advice to college students as they look to enter the real world. If you read my blog you already have read half my answer and know that this was not an easy task for me.

Thoughts went through my head that included dollar signs, retirement ages, peer recognition, etc., but in the end I realized none of that really matters. In fact, it is pretty simple. So for what it’s worth, here’s how I define success.
