Facebook gets a Facelift

admin on March 15, 2009

Two weeks ago, Facebook announced that it would be redesigning its Facebook Pages. These updated changes actually give more power to content providers and business owners. Apparently from the web buzz that we’ve found, business owners who have Facebook pages for their brands will have more freedom, making people and “fan pages” the same type of format.

While this may not seem like a big deal, marketers will now have more control over their content and the communication that can be shared with fans of the brand. With these new tools, marketers will have the ability to publish directly on people’s homepages just like individuals have by posting updates. This could be a powerful marketing tool for both local and national businesses who are trying to develop an online fan base and to expand upon that base through their “fans’” friends.

About Red Clay

Red Clay isn't a traditional agency. Our folks don't fit that mold, and we aren't big on conforming. We're thinkers. We like getting outside the box to get results, but never just to be cool. We care too much about conversions to worry about being cool. We're outside the big city and provide our clients with good old fashioned service. Our business is built on conversions, communication, sales … you know, results.
